Have you ever wanted to try your hand at using hard glass (Borosilicate)?
Sally brings her energy and love for glass to this workshop.
This class is designed for both the beginner and advanced student to either learn to work, or further their work with Boro glass tubing and rod.
Sally will work with the class and individually to help each student learn the fundamentals of heat control and the proper techniques of creating glass art.
Borosilicate sculptures as well as animals, vases and goblets will be part of this one day class.
So bring your imagination and ideas with you and be ready to have some fun!

2 Day Scroll Work Intensive Class

with an Extra Day with Trey Monday April 30th
10 AM to 4 PM all three days

Saturday night there will be a free demo and a chance to meet the artist in the gallery of the Sprinkler Factory
This will give everyone a chance to meet Trey and have a chance to purchase one of his fabulous beads or marbles
Time for this event will be announced.
The 2 day workshop will start with simple straight line design work and end with raised scroll work utilizing silver glass.
Students will visit shaping and forming as well but, the guts of the class is, stringer control and design.
Trey has several demos to show as well as working individually with each student.
Extra Day with Trey ~ This is a great way to get a refresher class if you have already taken the 2 day class in the past.
Trey will be addressing individual questions and helping students find their own direction using the techniques demoed in the 2 day class.
The class revolves around the individual needs of the students and Trey highly encourages questions and will help problem solve technical and artistic issues.
This is an excellent opportunity to spend a little more time with the instructor, see a few more demos, further develop the skills presented in the 2 day class or refresh the techniques you learned from a past class.
Pre requisite: Students must have taken a 2 day class with Trey sometime in the past
